Nestled between historic Clinton and Flemington, at the base of Cushetunk Mountain, lies the quaint, historic, village of Stanton. Established as a Dutch settlement several decades before the American Revolution, Stanton continues to be a delightful place to live and visit. For 58 years, On the first weekend of each December, the town has welcomed everyone to share the anticipation of Christmas as the residents fling open their doors to celebrate Stanton Holly Trail.
Please join us on Saturday, December 7, 2019, for the last ever Stanton Holly Trail. Our theme is "Joyful and Triumphant: the Farewell Tour". After this year we will be hanging up our hammers, saws, and elf hats and putting New Jersey's longest running house tour to rest. But for 2019, we will have our usual five homes elaborately decorated for Christmas with hand-made ornament and abundant fresh greens. Your $50 ticket for the Saturday tour will include admission to all five homes, Silver Tea at a sixth home, Candy House at yet another house where delectable sweets may be purchased, admission to the hand-made craft bazaar, and bus transportation between the homes. A respite is provided in the Church sanctuary where live music offered by a changing variety of musicians spreads the yuletide spirit.
If you prefer the candlelight experience, that will be Friday, December 6th. Your $175 tickets will include dinner at Stanton Ridge Country Club and admission to all five homes and the Candy House.
Saturday tour-goers visit the elegant Silver Tea, where Holly Trail’s legendary hospitality is on display as the Holly Trail hostesses offer complimentary home-baked cookies and a relaxing cup of hot tea.
This year we are pleased to offer a special commemorative ornament for sale. There is a limited number and you may pre-order with your online ticket purchase and pick up at the Check Booth on Saturday or at the Club for Champagne Tour patrons. Any remaining ornaments will be available for sale on Saturday at the Bazaar.
