Beneficiaries

The Briteside Adult Day Center is located in Flemington, New Jersey, and affiliated with Hunterdon Medical Center. Briteside provides a comfortable, safe, home-like environment to help older adults in need of some supervision during the day to maintain their vitality. The staff offers activities that enhance cognitive abilities and interaction with others, helping seniors to feel good physically and emotionally. It is the goal at Briteside to provide a program of social adult day care with activities assigned to accentuate the positive and encourage independence and to promote good health, nutrition, and self-esteem. The Center provides an alternative for care offering caregivers a respite, providing loved ones a safe place during the day, and enabling them to continue to live at home with family.

The Stanton Reformed Church is located in Stanton, New Jersey, and has been serving the community for more than 175 years. Belonging to the Reformed Church in America, the oldest protestant denomination with a continuous ministry in the U.S., the Stanton Reformed Church continues to be a community church, transcending denominational lines and serving the needs of our community. Fully 29% of the Church’s operating budget is dedicated to community outreach and serving those in need. The Church is one of the major contributors to Starfish Food Pantry. It also hosts Boy Scouts, The Stanton Learning Center, baker’s guild, and local community musical groups. The Church provides volunteers and financial support to local organizations including Habitat for Humanity, Family Promise, Feed the Need, Safe in Hunterdon, Good News Home for Women, Project Hospitality, Hunterdon Interfaith Outreach Council, Samaritan Homeless Interim Program, Hunterdon Regional Cancer Center and many others.
