Your Saturday tour begins when you board a bus in the Round Valley Recreation Area parking lot and are greeted by your knowledgeable bus ambassador. You’ll receive the Holly Trail Tour Booklet that provides you with helpful information for the day and descriptions of each of the tour homes. A shuttle bus will return you to the parking lot when you have finished your tour.
Tours leave every half hour from 8:15 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. Tickets are limited and sold on a first come, first served basis. Please observe ticket times.
In addition to touring five beautifully decorated homes, the Candy House with its wonderful selection of sweets for purchase, and the complimentary Silver Tea, patrons of the Saturday tour are also invited to visit:
- Holiday Boutique, 8:30 a.m. to Last Bus - Plan to do Christmas shopping at the Holly Trail Boutique with its abundance of unique craft items, silver jewelry and the 2011 Golden Anniversary Cookbook. Find the boutique in the lower level of the Stanton Reformed Church where a check booth is available for your purchases.
- Bakery, 8:30 a.m. to Last Bus - Delight someone special with a purchase of some homemade baked goods! Located in the lower level of the Stanton Reformed Church.
- Holly Dog Tent, 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. - Hot dogs, chili, beverages and cookies/chips will be available for purchase. Located in the Stanton Reformed Church parking lot, it is handy for those waiting in the bus lines.
- Sanctuary, 10:15 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. - A respite available throughout the day – the Sanctuary of the Stanton Reformed Church features live music and lovely decorations. Sit a bit to rest, renew and enjoy our local talent.
- Comfort Stations, All Day or Until Full - Porta-Johns are located in the parking lot at Round Valley, the Church and at one of the homes on the tour.
